Tastes Like Chicken... Because It Is!

With the coming of September, Wicked Willie's Sports Grill has been heavily focused on the beginning of both college and pro football. (As we should be!) This month is also National Chicken Month, and since our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant & bar has a lot of delicious chicken dishes on our menu, we decided to show a few of those off to you in today's blog. After all, you're going to want something to munch on during those games, and these may be just the thing to hit the spot! 


First, the Facts
Chicken not only tastes good, but it's actually good for you too. It's an excellent source of protein, which your body uses for muscle growth and development. Protein also helps to support a healthy body weight. Between college football beginning last week and the NFL starting their regular season this week, we're expecting some exciting nights and weekends for football fans happening at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill over the next few months. Not only is this the best place to watch sports at the Lake of the Ozarks, but we've got the most delicious food & drinks to enjoy while you cheer on your teams too. Win-win! 


Chiefs vs. Chargers
While the NFL season officially opens on Thursday night with the Falcons and the Eagles, around here we're a lot more excited about our Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday at 3 pm. So excited, in fact, that we're throwing a great big Chiefs Season Opener Watch Party from 2-7 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018
