5 Reasons You Should Be Watching ALL the Games at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill
There's something amazing about seeing your favorite team play live, but that's not always possible if they're out of town or you couldn't get tickets. Watching them with us right here at our Lake of the Ozarks sports bar & grill is the next best thing.! As a matter of fact, in some ways, cheering them on from Wicked Willie's Sports Grill is even better!
Comfort
This time of year there are still quite a few hot days left before fall puts a permanent chill in the air. Instead of sweating in a bleacher seat and squinting to keep the glare of the sun out of your eyes, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy sports in the air-conditioned comfort of Wicked Willie's. Our chairs are a LOT more comfortable too. On the flip side of that, once it does start getting colder outside, you'll be cozy and warm here with us while the people at the game have to bundle up and cheer through chattering teeth.
ALL the Games at Once
When you watch your team play at Wicked Willie's, you can keep up with all of the other sports happening at the same time too! We've got 31 TVs placed all around the bar and restaurant, plus 3 big projection screens. That means that no matter where you choose to sit, you can keep an eye on all of the action.
For instance, this weekend, August 25 & 26, the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout will be broadcast on Lake TV so you can catch all the races even here if you're not heading out on the lake. While that's going on, you can also catch the Cardinals and the Royals, and even keep an eye a round or two of golf. Labor Day Weekend brings back college football. NFL preseason football is currently on TV, and the Chiefs first game of the season is coming up on September 9. (We're having an awesome Chiefs Season Opener Watch Party for that one, so keep an eye out for more details about that!)
You Don't Have to Cook or Clean
We've got a creative menu full of favorite food items, like nachos, wings, and burgers, made with our own special touches to make them truly unique to our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant. You'll also find gourmet items to try out if you're in the mood, like our Cajun Chicken Fettucine, Pan Roasted Ahi Tuna, or our savory Hand Cut 12-oz Ribeye.
The bar is fully stocked and we have an excellent selection of ice cold beers, both on draft and in the bottle. Best of all, you can eat and drink to your heart's content with absolutely no effort on your part. We'll take care of all of the cooking, bring it out to you, and even clean up when you're done. That way, you can concentrate on what's important - the game!
Short Walk to the Restrooms
Stadiums, ballparks, and other sporting venues rarely have restrooms close enough to your seats that you don't miss a big chunk of the action when you use them. Our restrooms are just a few steps away from every seat in the house, plus we keep them nice and clean. If you do happen to miss a great play while you're in there, there's a good chance you'll be back in time to catch the instant replay and if not, the person sitting next to you can fill you in on what you missed.
Team Spirit
Another excellent perk of watching all the games here with us is that you'll have plenty of other sports fans to cheer on your favorite team with you. Of course, you'll probably run into a few rival fans too, but it's all fun and games here. A bit of light-hearted, friendly competition is good for you! Our entire restaurant is also family friendly so you can feel comfortable bringing the kids along. The world needs future sports fans too!
