Happy Hour is a wonderful time to meet up with your friends after work, and possibly a time to make a few new friends. Even though the word "hour" is singular in the name, it's actually a 3-hour block of time for you to take advantage of some great drink prices to help you unwind after a long day.

The Origin of Happy Hour
The idea of Happy Hour has appeared in various forms for centuries. The type we enjoy today evolved from people meeting up to share a few drinks during Prohibition. Even though alcohol was illegal at the time, it didn't stop people from drinking!
It became fairly common to meet up at each other's homes or a local speakeasy to enjoy a few cocktails before going out to dinner. Since they couldn't order a cocktail at the restaurant, they instead enjoyed a "happy" hour or so beforehand.
What About the Weekends?
Our Lake of the Ozarks sports bar doesn't host a specified Happy Hour over the weekend, but we do feature an amazing Bloody Mary Bar that will definitely give you some happiness. Each Saturday and Sunday from 11 am-2 pm, you just tell the bartender your preference of vodka to be added to the mix, then we'll set you loose to add all the "fixin's" you like from the extra add-ins we have set out. Olives, pickles, celery, spices, etc... It's always fun to see the creations that end up going back to the table!
