Are You Ready For Some Football? (Of Course You Are!)

We're excited about college football getting back into gear (as we mentioned in last week's "Labor Day Weekend Means College Football is Back!") Even so, Wicked Willie's Sports Grill is already looking ahead to the following week when the NFL season officially begins. (It seems like we've waited so long!) Of course, you all realize that this means it's time for another Chiefs Season Opener Watch Party!

Let's Go Chiefs! 
The first game of the 2019 season will be on Thursday, September 5 at 7:00 pm between the Packers and the Bears. We have fans from all over visit the lake area, so you can usually find a fan for just about every team playing. Still, around these parts, the majority of our sports fans tend to cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs. 

 For that reason, we make an event out of every Chiefs game, all season long. This will begin with our annual season-opening party when the Chiefs take on the Jaguars at noon on Sunday, September 8. (Just in time for lunch!) You'll probably want to come in earlier than that to find a prime seat and do a little "indoor tailgating" pre-game. 

We'll have some incredible specials on buckets of beer throughout the game and shot specials every time the Chiefs score. There will also be some fun giveaways going on and a live DJ on-site to give you an awesome "stadium experience." 

 If you haven't experienced this yet, it makes the excitement inside our Lake of the Ozarks sports bar & grill more than you can imagine! (So don't try to imagine it, check it out for yourself in person!) The best news is, we offer this "stadium experience" every time the Chiefs play, all season long! 

We've Got ALL the Games
For everyone else that wants to watch a team other than the Chiefs, we've got you covered too. With 31 TVs and 3 giant projection screens placed all around the bar and restaurant areas, we can show all the games and there's not a bad seat in the house! Here's a look at the NFL schedule for week #1.


Classic Football Foods
Our family-friendly restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks offers unique and delicious dishes that you wouldn't normally expect to find at a typical sports grill, but we've got quite a few of the classics too. Many of these have our own Wicked Willie's twist injected into the recipe, but that just makes them even more irresistible! 

 Wings are always a must-have when you're watching the game and our Fresh Jumbo Wings are a crowd pleaser! The sauces are incredible too: Buffalo, Grilled Jamaican Jerk, Sweet & Spicy Pineapple Habanero, and Teriyaki. Next, up, Nachos are another classic football food and we offer 3 incredible varieties: Beef, Buffalo Chicken, and Smoked Chicken Fajita. 

If you're looking for something that your friends are less likely to expect you to share, then one of our Signature Burgers may be just what you're looking for. We have 5 different versions on the menu, or you're welcome to build your own with your favorite toppings. All of our burgers are 7-oz. patties served on a Brioche bun with your choice of one of our house side dishes. 

Join us at the best sports bar & grill at the Lake of the Ozarks this Labor Day Weekend for college football, then again next week for the NFL season-opening games and our first Chiefs watch party of the season. Of course, there are other sports still going on right now and Wicked Willie's Sports Grill in Osage Beach is able to show all of them. Get ready sports fans. We're all in for a #WickedGood time!

"Costume" Ideas for the ABC Party at Wicked Willie's Tuesday, July 31, 2018

Wicked Willie's Sports Grill happens to be connected to an amazing nightclub, so we simply can't resist throwing the most epic parties from time to time inside it. On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 9 pm we're doing it once again with an ABC Party! What's an ABC Party? Well, we're glad you asked... ANYTHING BUT CLOTHES! Yes, at this particular type of party, there are NO CLOTHES ALLOWED! We don't want you showing up naked though. It's time to start thinking creatively and find some items you wouldn't regularly consider clothing to cover yourself with. Think you're up for the challenge? It's a wonderful time for college basketball fans because the highlight of the season is finally here. The NCAA tournament is underway and Wicked Willie's Sports Grill in Osage Beach will have ALL OF THE GAMES!
