It's National Chicken Month - Celebrate With #WickedGood Chicken

September happens to be National Chicken Month and Wicked Willie's Sports Grill in Osage Beach happens to have some #WickedGood chicken dishes on the menu. In addition to being the best sports bar at the Lake of the Ozarks with 31 TVs, 3 giant projection screens, and ALL the games, Wicked Willie's also has a diverse menu from classic burgers and appetizers to gourmet entrees. Today we're giving you a closer look at the tasty chicken dishes we're cooking up for you.

So, why should you make an effort to eat more chicken? Well, chicken not only tastes good, but it's actually good for you too. It's an excellent source of protein, which your body uses for muscle growth and development. Protein also helps to support a healthy body weight. The high level of the amino acid, tryptophan, increases the serotonin levels produced by the brain, which boosts your mood and consequently can relieve stress.

The many vitamins and minerals present in chicken do a body good too. B-vitamins help with maintaining a healthy body weight by regulating digestion and boosting metabolism. They also boost immunity. Vitamin D helps a body absorb calcium, and vitamin A lends to good eye health. Eating chicken even lowers your risk of having high cholesterol and developing heart problems.

Served with raspberry-chipotle dipping sauce

-Buffalo Chicken Potato Skins-

Crispy potato skins stuffed with grilled chicken tossed in Wicked Willie’s Buffalo sauce, cheddar jack and bleu cheese, crisp bacon, and green onions drizzled with sriracha ranch

-Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps-

Grilled marinated chicken, pickled carrots and daikon, bean sprouts, roasted shiitake mushrooms, fresh herbs, rice noodles, and toasted peanuts served with nuoccham (Vietnamese dipping sauce) or teriyaki sauce

-Asian Chicken Salad-

Grilled hoisin marinated chicken, shredded cabbage, carrots, leaf lettuce, broccoli florets, and peanut dressing topped with crisp rice noodles

-Mediterranean Chicken Wrap-

Grilled chicken, baby spinach, feta cheese, and eggplant relish with tomatoes and olives in a spinach herb tortilla

-Cajun Chicken Fettuccine-

Blackened spiced grilled chicken with roasted peppets, sundried tomatoes, and sauteed spinach in a spicy Cajun sauce
