Join Us for the Wings & Swings Event - Virtual Golf for a Great Cause!
If you love playing golf, hanging out at the best sports bar & grill at the Lake of the Ozarks, and raising money for a deserving local organization while having fun, well then, we've got the perfect event in store for you! In case you didn't already know, the former nightclub connected to Wicked Willie's Sports Grill in Osage Beach is now the LOZ Golf Lounge. They are putting the "fun" in fundraiser with the Wings & Swings event taking place March 15-31, 2021, benefitting Kids Harbor.
Great Golf - Great Cause!
The LOZ Golf Lounge has brought the game of golf indoors and added 63 virtual courses from around the world to the list! You can enjoy the great game of golf year-round, rain or shine, as well as practice and improve your swing.
The Wings & Swings event is a 4-person, 9-hole simulator scramble. For just $400 per team, you can choose the tee time that is most convenient for you anytime between March 15-March 31 by calling 573-723-1832. You can also sign up in person at the LOZ Golf Lounge when you come in to play. After all, you're going to need to practice if you want to win! The Contests & Prizes
As we mentioned earlier, this will be a 4-person, 9-hole simulator scramble. The price to enter is $400 per team. The purse will be a cash prize, with the amount dependant upon the number of entries. That means if you believe your team is good enough to win the grand prize, then the more people you can get to sign up, the bigger your prize will be!
An additional "Bullseye Challenge" will be going on too. This part of the contest will be scored individually and is $50 per golfer to enter.
There will also be a "Long Drive" contest and a "Closest to the Pin" contest which will each offer both male and female prizes. Lens Mart Optical has graciously offered to provide the prizes for these two contests. The winner of the long drive will receive Calloway sunglasses and the golfers getting closest to the pin will be given a cash prize.
Kids Harbor
Kids’ Harbor, Inc. is a child advocacy center serving the Lake of the Ozarks area, Fort Leonard Wood, and surrounding areas. This agency assists victims of child abuse and their safe caregivers as they make their way through the difficult and often frightening process of a child abuse investigation.
Services are provided at no cost, to children ages 0-18 that qualify for the program. Money raised from events like Wings & Swings helps his wonderful organization keep providing this much-needed service in our area. If you would like to learn more about them, visit www.KidsHarborMO.org.
Dine, Drink, & Play
Since this awesome event is taking place just down the stairs from our Lake of the Ozarks sports bar & restaurant, be sure to schedule your tee time for when you're good and hungry! You're perfectly welcome to enjoy your food and drinks from Wicked Willie's while you play in the golf lounge or join us in the dining room and watch the competition through the glass while they play!
Another excellent tee time is during our weekly Happy Hour. That takes place Monday-Friday from 3-6 pm with #WickedGood drink specials. In addition to that, each Wicked Wednesday we extend Happy Hour to last from 3-10 pm and add fantastic food specials to the list too!
