Last Minute Costume Ideas For Our Halloween Bash
We're giving away cash prizes for the most awesome costumes at the best Halloween party at the Lake of the Ozarks this Saturday, October 28, 2017. Do you have yours ready? No worries if you don't, because Wicked Willie's Sports Grill has 10 easy-to-make, last-minute, Halloween costume ideas for you.
Ghost
A plain white sheet and a pair of scissors to cut the eyes out gives you an easy ghost costume. Don't have a white sheet? Use whatever you've got and just tell people that the color or pattern is because you lived a "colorful life" before you became a ghost.
Your Evil Twin
This is probably the easiest one on the list. All you have to do is show up looking like yourself, but with a sneaky look on your face. If you want to truly stay in character, it's the perfect time to pull a few pranks on your friends since you'll be playing the part of your evil twin!
Mummy
A roll or two of toilet paper is an automatic DIY costume. Just wrap some long strands of it around yourself and you're all dressed. If it rips at any point while you're dancing, you can head to the bathroom and re-wrap yourself.
Risky Business
Show off those sexy legs with a Risky Business-inspired look. All you need is a long white shirt (please, for all of our sakes, make sure it's long enough!,) a pair of socks, sunglasses, and a cool attitude.
Tourist
If you live in the lake area, you have your own idea of what a tourist looks like. We suggest throwing on your swimsuit and a cover-up, maybe pick up some "Lake of the Ozarks" souvenir gear at the store, and look like you're lost all night. A camera around your neck is a nice touch, and if you can scrounge up a fanny pack to wear, now that just might be prize-worthy.
Party Animal
All you need is a pair of ears, which you can find at just about any store this time of year, and a party hat - voila - "Party Animal!" Paint your nose and stick a tail to your behind if you want to go the extra mile.
Identity Theif
Pick up a packet of "Hi, my name is..." stickers, write a variety of different names on each one, and stick them all over your body.
Nerd
Hike your pants up a little higher than usual, mess up your hair, and wrap some tape around your eyeglasses. You can pick up some $1 reading glasses or simply knock the lenses out of an old pair of sunglasses. The trick to this costume is making everyone believe you're really smart all night long!
Facebook
It may take people a few minutes to get this one, or even notice it, but it counts as dressing up! Take a marker, write the word "book" on your face, and yeah, that's it.
Ceiling Fan
Easier than it sounds, and perfect for a sports bar. Take a plain t-shirt and write "Go Ceiling!" on it. Get it... you're cheering for the ceiling... so you're a fan...
