FOOTBALL IS BACK! If you haven't already, be sure to mark your calendar to remind you to join us at the best place to watch football at the Lake of the Ozarks for the Kansas City Chiefs season-opener. This Sunday, September 8, 2019, Wicked Willie's Sports Grill is throwing our annual Chiefs Season Opener Watch Party. (If you haven't attended this exciting event before, make it a priority this year!)
Chiefs vs. Jaguars
We get fans for lots of different NFL teams at our Lake of the Ozarks sports bar each season but the KC Chiefs have a special place in our hearts. For that reason, we make an event out of each Chiefs game, all season long, especially the season-opener.
This year they're kicking off their season against the Jacksonville Jaguars at noon. (We open at 11:00 am, giving you plenty of time to come in early and claim your favorite seat!) Of course, with 31 TVs and 3 giant projection screens positioned around both the bar and restaurant areas, all the seats offer a great view of all the games.
Exciting Stadium Experience
The atmosphere at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill is already electric when football season is in full swing, but during the Chiefs games, we make it even more exciting. How is that possible, you ask? By having a live DJ on-site, mimicking a true stadium experience!
Music is matched to key points in the game (like all of those touchdowns we're expecting) just like at the stadium. Expect some cool giveaways happening throughout the game as well.
Great Drink Specials
We've got a fully-stocked bar capable of mixing up whatever you're thirsty for. Still, there's something special about watching football and enjoying an ice-cold beer. For that reason, we'll have incredible specials on buckets of beer waiting for you. A celebration also calls for the occasional shot and every time the Chiefs score, we'll have some tempting shot specials too.
Favorite "Football Foods" & More
In addition to an awesome atmosphere and fantastic drink specials, our family-friendly restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has all of your favorite "football foods" on hand. These include Fresh Jumbo Wings (with 4 amazing sauce choices,) Nachos (beef, buffalo chicken, and smoked chicken fajita,) Wicked Fundido cheese dip, Buffalo Chicken Potato Skins, and more. The menu also features 4 irresistible burger creations or you can simply order a Classic Burger and any toppings you like.
The menu at Wicked Willie's goes far beyond the regular foods you would expect to find at a typical sports bar. We've also got fresh seafood, like Tuna Tataki and Cajun Tuna Sliders, lots of creative sandwiches such as the Notorious P.I.G. Cuban and our large Pork Tenderloin, savory salads, and more. If you happen to join us after 5:00 pm for dinner, you'll have even more gourmet entrees to choose from! We didn't forget our youngest football fans either.
