New Year's Resolutions - Try Something New (& Easy!)
We're about to begin a brand new year, which is the perfect time in your life to try something brand new. Wicked Willie's Sports Grill in Osage Beach can help you out with that!
Many people fill their list of new year's resolutions with things that will take a lot of work and be difficult to keep up past January. The key is to have a few simple tasks on your list that will be easy and enjoyable. For example, strive to try a new menu item at our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant & bar to expand your culinary tastes. Nothing difficult about that!
Accomplishing something as easy as that may be just enough to encourage you to keep working on the big stuff. And hey, even if it doesn't, at least you'll be able to brag that you crossed a resolution off and you might even find a few new favorite foods while you're at it!
Here are a few suggestions for menu items that we've added our own special #WickedGood gourmet twists to. Any one of them would be a delicious place to start!
Southwestern Chipotle Chicken Rangoon
"Crab" Rangoon is a very common dish that you've most likely tasted. Well, we took that tasty idea and changed things up a little. Our Rangoon appetizer is still crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, but instead of crab we use savory chicken and give the overall flavor a Southwestern flair by replacing sweet & sour sauce with a raspberry-chipotle remoulade to dip it in.
Buffalo Chicken Potato Skins
Two of the most popular items that people order at a sports bar are chicken wings and potato skins. At our Lake of the Ozarks sports bar & grill, you don't have to decide between those two dishes because we've masterfully combined them into one amazing menu item!
The base is made of crispy potato skins that are filled with grilled chicken that has been tossed in our signature Wicked Willie's Buffalo sauce along with cheddar jack and bleu cheese, crisp bacon, and green onions. Lastly, it's all drizzled with a fantastic sriracha ranch.
The Mac Daddy
You'll need to come in good and hungry to tackle this amazing burger because you're going to want to finish every single bite and maybe even lick the plate when you're done! It all starts very simply with one of our mouthwatering 7-oz. burgers. It's the next step that's exciting though when we cover that burger with a heaping helping of Bacon Mac 'n' Cheese. (That's right, not just mac 'n' cheese but BACON Mac 'n' Cheese!)
As if that wasn't already filling enough, a burger with a "side dish" on top, you still get one of our house side dishes to enjoy along with the meal. (Like we said, be sure to come in good and hungry for this big boy!)

Now, this particular burger is definitely in the top ten of items ordered from the Wicked Willie's Sports Grill menu, but it's so well-loved and so delicious, you really need to come in and give it a taste if you haven't already. The toppings help to create an irresistible sandwich but it's what we put inside the burger itself that makes it special.
To begin with, we take ground chuck like you'd expect but then infuse it with caramelized onions, jalapeno, and chipotle sauce before flame-grilling it to perfection! Then, on top of all of that fantastic flavor, we add more caramelized onions, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayonnaise, and guacamole.
Like we said, start with a very small change, like trying a new food you've never had before, and maybe some of those bigger new year's resolutions will seem a bit more attainable. The four menu items mentioned above aren't totally unusual but just different enough for something new.
