Are You Ready For Some Football? Wicked Willie's Sports Grill Is!
What are you doing this Labor Day Weekend? We hear that a lot of people travel, plan barbecues, or go boating. Apparently, they don't realize that college football season is starting! If they knew that, then they'd be right here with us at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill, eating hot wings, drinking beer, and watching all of the games!
If you can't attend the actual game, joining us at the best place to watch sports at the Lake of the Ozarks is the next best thing. Even though we are located in mid-Missouri, we are in the center of a very popular vacation destination which attracts football fans from all across the country.
That's not a problem for our Lake of the Ozarks sports bar & grill. We've got 31 TVs surrounding the bar and restaurant areas, and 3 giant projection screens that allow us to show ALL of the games. That list of college season-opening games is a little too long to share in our blog, but you can find times for all of the Labor Day Weekend college football games at ESPN.com.

Chiefs Season Opener Watch Party!
After this Labor Day Weekend excitement, we are gearing up for another big weekend of football with all of the NFL season openers. Once again, we'll have all of the games on, beginning with the 1st matchup of the 99th season of the NFL on Thursday, September 6, 2018. The defending Super Bowl LII champion Philadelphia Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons at 7:20 pm.
The game that we're most excited about here at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill is the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 9 at 3:05 pm. We're so excited, as a matter of fact, that we're throwing a great big party!
The celebration starts at 2 pm, and we're going to have a DJ on hand with a play-by-play during the game so you get a live stadium experience. To quench your thirst, there will be specials on buckets of beer and we'll run shot specials every time the Chiefs score.
There will also be free Logboat Brewery samples. (You just may discover a favorite new locally brewed beer!) We'll have other fun stuff to give away throughout the game, plus at the end of the game, someone will win a Bud Light BBQ grill. You need to be present to win, but our parties are so much fun, we know that nobody will be leaving early!
No matter what you've got going on this Labor Day weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks, we're sure you're going to want to spend a big portion of it right here with us at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill. The same goes for the rest of the upcoming season of football. Chances are we'll be seeing a lot of each other!
