Chiefs Preseason Football Excitement at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill
Football is back at your favorite Lake of the Ozarks sports bar & grill! Sure, it's just preseason, but while the NFL players get in some competitive practice for their season openers, you can start practicing for the football-watching season at Wicked Willie's Sports Grill in Osage Beach!
We'll be broadcasting all of the Chiefs' preseason games beginning tonight as they play the Texans @ 7:30 pm. Expect beer bucket specials, $1 shot specials every time our Chiefs score, and a room full of people excited to see some action on the field again! Here's a look at all of the upcoming preseason games for the Chiefs this year.
Some people may try to tell you that these preseason games are meaningless, but that's not true at all. It's an excellent chance for the coaches to try out a few new plays and formations, plus get a real look at the up and coming talent that has been drafted. This is the time for those new guys to really prove themselves so they can earn a spot on the team.
For us, the dedicated football fans, preseason gives us back a taste of what we've been missing since last year's season ended. Sure, many of your favorite veteran players will probably spend most of these games on the bench, but there will be all of that new talent fighting hard to earn their own place to watch. Let's hope these guys are ready to put on quite a show for us during their try-out period!
